Aite Group construction company

The team behind Aite Group, previously the Queensland branch of fitout and refurbishment company Fore Group, will now transition to a fully independent entity, with an expanded service offering.
In addition to undertaking specialist fitouts and refurbishments for the commercial, hospitality, retail and government sectors, Aite Group has evolved to a broadened capability into new builds, positioning the company firmly within the mid-tier construction sector. The team has also extended its in-house capacity, providing front end Early Contractor Engagement and Pre-construction capabilities, which is delivering significant value for its clients already.
This expanded structure for Aite Group strengthens its integration between delivery and client collaboration, ensuring the company can take on more complex projects while maintaining the care, precision and partnership approach clients value.
Directors Ben Wright and Joe Stewart, which have nearly 30 years’ experience between them, will lead the team at Aite Group, with plans for ongoing growth.
With their head office in Brisbane, Aite Group will continue to service clients Australia wide.
A standout Brisbane project for the team was the construction of a 7,750 sqm purpose-built facility for a major International Defence and Aerospace Contractor. The four-level building at 101 Southgate Avenue in Cannon Hill was delivered in partnership with one of Brisbane’s leading property developers, Anthony John Group.
The team also refurbished and extended the 143-year-old Royal Mail Hotel at Tewantin, which has just re-opened for business. Delivered for Australian Venue Co, Aite Group completely refurbished the accommodation wing, bistro, function areas, gaming rooms and beer garden. Following the success of this project, the team is now delivering the complete refurbishment of The Maroochydore Sands Tavern for Australian Venue Co.
Mr Wright said he was excited to launch Aite Group and provide expanded services for existing and new clients across a diverse range of sectors and projects.
“The launch of Aite Group is an exciting new chapter for our team, and is a natural progression, building on our proven track record,” he said.
“We are looking forward to strengthening our relationships with our valued clients and building on our reputation for quality and partnership.
“Our new offering is designed to deliver greater value, integration and a true partnership-led approach across a broader range of projects to fill the increasing gap in the market in the midst of Queensland’s largest-ever pipeline of construction projects.”
Mr Stewartsaid there was demand around Australia for mid-tier commercial builders, with Aite Group set to fill a gap.
“The construction market features many specialist fit-out and refurbishment providers, but fewer independent mid-tier builders with end-to-end capability.
“Aite Group is well placed to fill this space, leveraging its established expertise, trusted relationships, and expanded capability to deliver commercial, multi-residential, hospitality and workplace projects at a larger scale.”
Aite Group’s head office is located at Level 1, 100 Creek Street in the Brisbane CBD.
